CECO introduces it's version of the ATCA
Power "Zone 1" Connector for Backplanes and Daughter Cards with several
improvement.
Utilizing CECO's needle-eye press-fit solderless technology, it offers an abundance of
performance and durability. The new FX-2a Series has been
designed to give maximum reliability at a considerably lower
installed cost.
These connectors have 8 power contacts with up to
20amps current capacity per contact and 22 signal contacts (26 when
fully loaded) with up to 3 amps current capacity.
AR Series
Vertical Receptacle for Backplanes features....
Close front entry feature for both Power and Signal.
Contacts have a
“Pre-Load Barrier” in the insulator to insures lower uniform insertion
forces.
"Needle-eye" press-fit
for proven
compliant pin design.
"Flat Rock" for a
simple "Tool-less" press-fit installation.
Rear
loading of contacts (impossible to pull out from front).
Exceeds PCI
Industrial Computers Manufacturers Group 3.0 Standard.

standard mounting screws, but they are not required with our connector.
We do offer a optional press-fit mounting peg
version to eliminate the metal mounting screw.
